Welcome to CEG

Centre of Experimental Geotechnics (CEG) on the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU provides lectures in subjects: Soil mechanics laboratory, Rock mechanics laboratory. It also performs measurements on underground structures (observation measurements, measurements of excavation loading etc.). The main goal of CEG has been recently the complex study of high radioactive waste disposal sealing. The sealing will use clay based materials (especially bentonites).
